Rania Ekaterinari

President of SEV Executive Committee & Vice-Chair of the Board


Ms. Aikaterinari is the Chair of the Executive Committee and the Vice Chair of SEV's Board of Directors. She is also a non-executive member of ElvalHalcor, Motor Oil, and DEDDIE's boards of directors, where she chairs or serves on several committees. (Audit, Remuneration, Nomination, and Sustainability Committees).

She has over 27 years of professional experience in high-level roles across many sectors of the economy. She began her career in the oil and gas industry, working for Chevron. She then spent more than ten years with Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, and Eurobank in London and Athens, specializing in Investment Banking. She went on to hold senior positions in major organizations, including CEO of the "Hellenic Company of Assets and Participations" (Superfund - GrowthFund), Partner at EY and Head of EY's Energy Sector for Southeast Europe, and Deputy CEO of PPC and executive member of its Board of Directors.

She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of IOBE, the Advisory Board of diaNEOsis, the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Alba Association, the co-Chair of the Athens Chapter of the international network WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD), and the European Network for Women in Leadership. She graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an MBA from Bayes Business School.
