Obtaining the Masters in Business Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens involves completing 12 courses in 18 months for the full-time or 36 months for the part-time program. For more information, see Duration and Structure of Study. The master's program has 90 credits (ECTS), but the maximum number of credits allowed per academic year is 60 according to current legislation.

The academic year begins either the last weekend of September or the first weekend of October. The academic year consists of 34 weeks of study across two semesters, including final and repetition written exams. The exact dates of the final and repetition exams are announced on the e-class. Throughout the academic year and for each course, students attend educational meetings with the department's professors and advisors (Collaborating Teaching Staff), who inform, encourage, and advise students.
The educational meetings for each course last four hours and are also referred to as Group Advisory Meetings (GAMs). The primary goal of GAMs is to process and develop everything students are about to learn during the year. The Master's Program is offered both in Greek and in English if necessary. Knowledge of English is useful for attending the courses but also for searching bibliographic citations (references).
