The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers a postgraduate program called the Master of Business Administration (MBA). In addition to the MBA's broad focus on business administration (general track), three specializations are available as an alternative/supplementary option. More specifically, available study programs are:

  • MBA (General Track)
  • MBA in Bank and Insurance Management
  • MBA in Accounting
  • MBA in Healthcare Management

The minimum duration of studies at the University of Athens MBA is three academic semesters, with a maximum of six academic semesters.

The program starts in September of each year. Attending the 12 courses required for the degree takes 18 months full-time and up to 3 years part-time.

Each academic year, our students select the type of their studies (full-time or part-time).

To acquire a master's degree at the University of Athens MBA, you must successfully complete 12 courses.

The first eight courses are obligatory. The last four courses are chosen based on our students' personal preferences and scientific backgrounds.

Students who successfully complete their courses will receive a Master of Business Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

At the University of Athens MBA, alongside the core study program, our students can optionally attend the following at no cost:

  • the University of Athens MBA Business Series program
  • the «Up-Skilling Program»

The educational methodology of the program includes blended learning, thus face-to-face teaching and distance learning.

We use online classes (e-class) in which we post multimedia content about the subject, as well as self-assessment tests to help students comprehend the material.

Each semester course in the program has a Group Counseling Meeting (GCM) scheduled.

These meetings are held in Athens on Saturdays and Sundays and the students can attend in person or remotely.
